Our clients built their forever home in historic Neponsit, NY, a small coastal community known for its classic shingle-style architecture. And that same aesthetic shaped their vision for the exterior. They wanted a yard that felt connected to their new home, but that was also built for entertaining.
The design is rooted in the home’s Cape Cod-inspired architecture, but modern lighting and materials give the outdoor space a fresh, elevated edge.
The entertainment areas are the heart of this yard, and there’s a pool, outdoor kitchen, bar, dining, and more. All designed to work together, whether it’s just our clients using their space, or they’re entertaining a big group.

This is a small lot, so it was challenging to create the open, spacious feel our clients wanted with a limited footprint.
Plus, there is a 400 sq. ft. restriction for pools, which meant coming up with a creative solution to elevate a standard, smaller, rectangular pool.
