Outdoor Living: The Lounge Area
Usually within a living space we think of living room,dining room, interior spaces. But your yard can actually be the true living space of your home.
So how did we achieve that in this yard specifically?
First, we made sure that this exterior space could accommodate every single activity that you would do in any living space.
In this yard, we have an large lounge area. There’s a large chase lounge area, which is great on a sunny day where you can read a book by the pool and hear the relaxing sound of the water.
Outdoor Living: The Sunken Seating Area
We also created a sunken living space. Our clients can use this when they’re hosting guests or when it’s just their family. Everyone can sprawl on the couch cushions, and it’s a great, cozy zone in this yard.
This sunken space offers everything that a living room would.
Outdoor Living: Covered Lounge
Another unique element of this specific design is that half of the yard is actually completely covered.
In that space, we have a whole other lounge area with relaxing swivel chairs. We have a full-scale outdoor kitchen with two TV screens.
On top of that, we also incorporated this oversized jacuzzi spa in the
middle of all this.
While we don’t often put a jacuzzi in a covered space, it works perfectly in this yard. And can be a good idea especially if you live in an area with a colder winter climate. Or even somewhere that gets a lot of rain.
In this yard, adding the jacuzzi to the covered outdoor living space makes it possible for our client’s family to enjoy their yard in any weather.
