A Hidden Resort-Style Spa With A Candle Wall

This resort-inspired yard is hiding a secret area that’s unbelievably relaxing.
The entire space is infused with Santorini style to recreate that unmatched feeling of content you get when you’re on vacation. But, what makes this yard the perfect place to unwind, is the spa.
At first glance, it looks like this yard doesn’t have a spa. But, when you start spending time in the space and making your way around the yard, you discover that there’s actually an oversize spa hidden behind the private island water feature. The soothing white hues, blue accents and candle wall make this a cozy space where you truly feel like you can get away from it all. It’s one of our favorite spa designs because it transports you straight to the Santorini coast.
A Spa Created For Entertaining

The spa is strategically placed so you can be enjoying a warm soak, while still interacting with all the other people using your space.
It’s close enough to both the dining area and the nearby seating area so you could carry on a conversation with guests enjoying either of those features.
But, the spa still feels tucked away enough that it’s relaxing and will help you unwind when there are other people taking advantage of the more active areas of the yard.
A Dark, Dramatic Spa That’s So Relaxing

A rich black-toned spa seamlessly blends in with the rest of the space – thanks to an infinity/zero-edge. It’s a dramatic effect that makes this backyard so relaxing. Couple that with the covered patio, sprawling pool, and backyard sauna, and this outdoor space feels more like a high-end retreat than a yard.
Adding a spa to the pool is a great way to create luxury in a yard. There’s really nothing like having a hidden hot tub that you can’t really see until you’re actually spending time in the space.
An Oversized Spa That Fits 10+ People

This spa is absolutely massive. There’s room for at least 8-10 people. And, it’s built into a covered patio with dreamy custom lighting and a rain curtain on one side. Plus, the entire area is framed by floating walkways and swings that hang over the water. It’s the perfect place for a ton of guests to gather and is gorgeous during the day, but comes even more to life after dark.
There’s a massive outdoor kitchen and bar area, a swim up bar, sunken seating area, and more in this yard, as well. The Bali-inspired boardwalk pathways, greenery, and laid-back style make this yard better than any vacation.
A Cenote-Inspired Luxury Spa

If you’ve ever traveled to the Tulum area, chances are you’ve enjoyed enchanting Cenotes that help make Mexico such an incredible destination for a vacation. We took that idea – a hidden cave-like pool – as inspiration for the spa in this yard.
The final space features a cenote-style spa area that’s cozy, intimate, and that creates the element of discovery in this otherwise completely tranquil yard. It’s one of the most unique spas we have ever designed, and the rain curtain entrance really gives the entire space the illusion that you’re behind a waterfall and transported straight to Tulum.
