Our clients came to us with one request for their yard:
“WOW us”
So, how do you impress a client who wants to feel excited every time they step outside?
With a design like this one.
We created a yard for them that’s full of unexpected features—including a floating fire table and a glass-sided pool.
It creates this optical illusion when you’re in the pool and can see through to the fire table.

PS now is the best time to reach out if you want to enjoy your new yard in 2025. It might seem like you have plenty of time, but construction can take a lot longer than you expect!
Glass falls started with one thing: The glass acrylic wall pool.
And the entire rest of the design was built from that stand-out feature.
It’s the centerpiece that the whole yard.
The reason we designed such a strong focal point is because the lot has a large slope rihgt behind it. So, I wanted to distract from the fact that this outdoor space doesn’t have a really incredible view.
Having that strong focal point where you walk through the front door, you look
to the back and you immediately see something that is almost mesmerizing, is really what took this yard over the top.
The glass-sided pool is almost like something you’d see at an aquarium, so you’re expecting something to swim by! It really draws your attention immediately.
But, that’s not the only impressive design element in this yard.
I wanted to see if I could create this optical illusion – so that when you are in the pool, you can see through that acrylic glass panel and see fire.
So I created this fire feature that feels like it is levitating – and that you can see when you are actually swimming in the pool. We achieved this by creating steps and having one cantilever with the fire feature.
For the rest of the yard, we incorporated as many custom design elements as possible to give the yard and overall elevated, refined feeling.
For example, on the edge of the pool, we created a 45-degree edge in the marble that makes it a little extra interesting. And, throughout the rest of the tile, we managed to hide little lights tucked underneath so the yard comes even more to life at night.
We created a floating walkway of steps leading up to the spa in a beautiful accent color and even created custom cutouts to elevate the patio cover.
We made sure there’s separate spaces within this yard for lounging, swimming, relaxing. And we did that mainly by creating a seating area that is a little bit further away from the pool. You can sit at the bench and take in the entire yard because of the distance.
